Hello Carolyn and all,

If it will help, the PDP Working Group’s final consensus recommendation reads as follows:

“P/P service providers should be fully contactable, through the publication of contact details on their websites in a manner modelled after Section 2.3 of the 2013 RAA Specification on Privacy and Proxy Registrations, as may be updated from time to time.”

The original question that was included in the Working Group Charter, as approved by the GNSO Council, was: “What measures should be taken to ensure contactability and responsiveness of the providers?”

Thanks and cheers

Mary

Draft PP Policy Outline Feedback:

I think we need to define the term “fully contactable” in regards to the privacy/proxy service being “fully contactable.”

The outline appears to cover the major categories of the final recommendations.  I’m sure this will grow and evolve as we discuss the specific sections but it looks to be a good starting point, in my opinion.

Thanks,

Hi, All,

This is a reminder that we are seeking your feedback on the draft Privacy and Proxy Service Provider Accreditation Policy outline. Please send your feedback to the list no later than Monday, 12 December so that we can discuss on our 13 December IRT call.

The majority of the 13 December IRT call will be dedicated to your feedback on the outline. Thus, the length of the call will be largely dependent on how much feedback you would like to share. I’ll also share a slightly updated project timeline, taking into account our biweekly meeting schedule. I won’t have anything ready to report from the Board meeting yet, as it is now scheduled for the same day as our meeting.

I look forward to speaking with you next week. In the interim, if you have questions or comments, please feel free to share on the list or to contact me directly.

Best,

Amy E. Bivins
