I’ve made edits to the Recommendations, mostly for clarity. However, I (figuratively) tore up and rewrote the section on team composition. I took onboard the suggestions to explicitly discuss needed expertise, both on the team and in the chair. I also remained neutral on the open vs representative model. I don’t feel that we have a sense of the causal connection between team composition and Board readiness.

As with the Findings, I downloaded the doc and made edits in Word. I have attached redline and clean version.

For our meeting Tuesday, let’s review the docs in this format. I plan to scroll through them unless you have a better idea (to which I am completely open). Let me know if you think a review of clean or redline versions would be more helpful.

Read them beforehand if you can. This is probably our last meeting as a group prior to publication. If someone see a reason to delay publication for the September meeting, now is the time to raise that concern. I think there can be valid reasons so if you see one, it will no doubt be helpful to the quality of our product.

I will try to put together a management summary prior to our meeting.
