Thank you again for volunteering for this effort. In consultation with Olga, who was confirmed as Chair of this effort during the last Council meeting, we would like to propose to schedule the first meeting of the committee on Wednesday 8 September at 13.00 UTC. A calendar invite will follow shortly.
The proposed agenda for the first meeting is as follows:
1. Welcome & introductions
2. Review of the CCOICI role and assignments
3. Proposed working methods:
* Meeting once a week for 60 minutes (at least until first assignment is completed)
* Use a fixed weekly meeting time (13.00 UTC?)
* Collaborate in between meetings via google docs and mailing list
4. Assignment #6 – PDP 3.0 – Statement of Interest
* Review template
* Input from CCOICI
* Confirm next steps
5. Confirm next meeting & action items

Dear All,
Thank you very much for volunteering to the Council Committee for Overseeing and Implementing Continuous Improvement (COICI). In order to get the ball rolling, the staff support team has created a wiki page (see https://community.icann.org/x/JYMZCg) with all the relevant information.
As you may have seen, the Committee is still missing a Chair (https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/council/2021-July/024892.html) but to date no one has stepped forward. As noted in the framework document: “The committee would be chaired by a member of the Council who would serve in ex-officio capacity.” In his message, Philippe had also suggested that incoming Council members could be considered for this role. Is there anyone amongst you that might be interested in taking on this responsibility, even if this would mean that your group may need to appoint another representative, or is there another Council member of your SG/C that you might be able to convince to take on this role?
