• Shared the document last week.
• Reflects the discussions the Group has had to date on the Working Group Self-Assessment.
• Identified questions for discussion in the group.
• Group members are asked to review the document and add their comments/suggestions, in advance of the next meeting in two weeks.
• GNSO Operating Procedures – Annex 1 GNSO WG Guidelines and standalone documents:
  • Section 6.2 - Working Group Charter Template
  • Section 7.0 - Working Group Self-Assessment
    • Redlines reflect addition of a periodic survey in addition to a life-cycle survey.
  • Working Group Self-Assessment – call out a question about summary reports and confidentiality: This language may need to be refined further to be specific about how the information will be used and shared, once the CCOICI has decided about that.
  • In the life-cycle survey: took out reference to “liaisons” and changed “Administrative” question to “Staff Support”; added specific questions on leadership and the Council liaison to the WG; added language about whether there are suggestions to inform the Council’s consideration of the feedback provided.
  •  Added a new periodic survey (all text is new): Called out the question again about who should have access to the raw data; included relevant questions from the life-cycle survey; new section on leadership based on PDP 3.0.
  • Survey tool technical requirement – are there any must-haves? Once finalized take them to Tech Support staff to see what are the tool options that would be best fit for purpose.
• Before any changes to the GNSO Operating Procedures are made they would have to go out for public comment once the Council has had a chance to review them.
• Sent to the Board for oversight.

b.  CCOICI Questions / comments and confirm next steps

• CCOICI members to review the relevant WGSA documents at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BIYQNao380XIWSG357Cq6Fw6dfFkn71T/edit [docs.google.com] and provide comments/suggestions in advance of the next meeting on Wednesday, 26 January 2022.
• Once finalized the changes can go to the Council to review and then for public comment, or could go out to public comment first.  May be preferable to go out after Council review as there may be other updates to make separate from those related to the self-assessment.
