Dear CSC members,

According to the schedule, the SOs and ACs must submit their liaison and member candidates for the CSC to ICANN by 22 July.  As I notified you via separate email, the GNSO Council approved James Gannon as the GNSO CSC Liaison yesterday and the GNSO Secretariat sent the notification to ICANN today.

NOTE: Per the timeline below the draft motion for the GNSO approval of the CSC liaisons and members is due 26 July 2016.  Please see the attached revised draft motion.  The list of members and liaisons will be linked following approval by the joint ccNSO/GNSO CSC Selection Committees not later than 05 August.

ICANN will send the full slate of members and candidates to the ccNSO and GNSO (via the Secretariats and copy to the Chairs) not later than Friday, 29 July.

Since the list will not be available, I have suggesting canceling our call on Sunday, 24 July at 2100 UTC.  Please see the revised timeline of events as follows:

19 July: Submit candidate to the GNSO Council for consideration at its meeting on 21 July (with motion submitted per the deadline on 11 July). (DONE)

21 July: GNSO Council approves liaison candidate. (DONE)

22 July: GNSO Secretariat sends liaison candidate to ICANN. (DONE)

26 July: Draft motion due for the GNSO Council vote outside of a meeting (06-09 August).

29 July: ICANN sends full slate of liaisons and members to the ccNSO and GNSO for consideration (to the respective Secretariats).

02 August: ccNSO/GNSO Selection Committee joint meeting #1

04 August: ccNSO/GNSO Selection Committee joint meeting #2 – if needed.

06 August: OPEN: GNSO Council vote on full slate of CSC liaisons and members.

09 August: CLOSED: GNSO Council vote on full slate of CSC liaisons and members.

10 August: Deadline for ccNSO/GNSO approval CSC liaisons and members.

15 August: CSC is established.
