Thank you Steve for the Updates.
Coming back to the document on the DMPM Metrics Request Framework , I wonder if we should not separate Anonymous and confidential and have two means of analysis. Does  an Anonymous data can keep the Confidential behavior?

Warm regards,

Dear WG Members,

The email below was intended to be sent Friday, 16 January, but it looks it did not send properly until today. So, in addition to that message, I’d like to provide a few things for the WG to discuss and further the work of this group. While the documents attached have already been circulated, they would benefit from additional discussion and debate. Comments on the use case/executive summary are particularly welcome.
  • IRTP Use Case and Executive Summary
  • DMPM Metrics Request Framework
What the group can also begin to do is to consider the recommendations it would like to make, as well as what deliverables it intends to prepare (e.g., updated issue request template, registry data request template, etc.). Staff and the chair of this group appreciate the WG members’ enthusiasm and look forward to making progress on the email list.

Best,
Steve

Andrew,

The prioritization is only in relation to the ICANN meeting. It was decided to limit face to face sessions in Singapore due to pressing projects like Stewardship and Accountability as well as for other WG efforts where key milestones are occurring, such as publication of the Initial Report. Previous face to face sessions for this WG had very limited participation and and staff is trying to minimize schedule conflicts to maximize participation.

As for DMPM, staff is working to find additional information to inform the WG’s deliberations and determine an approach for next steps as there was not much support in moving forward with the IRTP-D use case and lack of participation to improve it. This will all be presented to the WG to make decisions on approach when we reconvene. We have also initiated preliminary efforts to document work to date for the first draft of the Initial Report.

Best,
Steve

Steve,

This strikes me as strange. I read your response to mean that ICANN has prioritized IANA and Accountability discussions to the point that it can't also facilitate ongoing work in other community WGs. I'd like to know who made this decision and why it was made without consulting the WG.

Thanks for providing further context. Best,

A

Dear WG Members,

I will echo the happy new year sentiment from Pam and Gabriel.

Meetings are expected to resume shortly after the ICANN Singapore meeting. As well, there will not be a face to face session in Singapore as the focus of that meeting is intended to be the IANA stewardship transition and ICANN accountability.

Best,
Steve

Hi everyone,

I belated Happy New Year!

The email below from Steve seems to be the last on the list. I was wondering if the group will meet again in January and in Singapore next month.

Kind regards,

Pam

Dear WG Members,

Please note that tomorrow’s meeting at 21:00 UTC is cancelled. Staff will be performing research internally to advance the work and we anticipate reconvening the full group in January.

Best,
