Looks like Jen, as Council Liaison, already responded! And far more eloquently than I did.
Looking forward to seeing you all real soon! Safe travels!!

Thanks Bruna. I too asked these same questions. I guess I have been given a bit of provisional pre-authority to get us kicked off so we don’t miss our opportunity to meet in Mumbai. If I figure out a way to get voted down by Council, someone
new will step in. 😊 But, ultimately, the unique timing issues here are a Council issue – so I don’t have all the inside details.
As for vice-chair, yes, we will get a note out about that. I do believe that some folks have already expressed interest, so if there are others who are interested, I would get those notes out on this list as soon as practical.
Best,
Paul

Hi, Feodora (and Paul),
Thanks so much for the message and heads up about the agenda.
I am just a bit confused as for the confirmation of Paul as Chair and the leadership, so here are two questions:
1. Just so we're clear, GNSO council still has to confirm the Chair selection, right ? Asking that bc Im confused as to how we can have a PDP session ahead of the GNSO Council meeting that will most likely confirm this point.
2. I see the agenda has a "Leadership team" item, so I would also like to inquire how the vice-chair selection will be done. I took note that we have a couple of candidates on the list, and - ideally - the SSC runner up cant be the VC as hes not a member of
the PDP. But it would be important to clear this point up ahead of the meetings.
Best,
Bruna

I had asked for the presentation to be held on Saturday, as TechDay conflicts with the onday sessions. I have not seen any response thereto.
Can that be arranged?

Dear DNSAM PDP1 WG,
Thank you all for your active participation in this group.
We would like to share some more information regarding the four (4) DNSAM PDP1 sessions planned at ICANN85.
Our first meeting will be at ICANN85 in person on Saturday, 07 March, at 15:00-16:00 (local time). We look forward to seeing those attending in-person there! The WG will have four sessions during ICANN85 taking place as follows:
- Kick-off Meeting: Saturday, 07 March at 15:00 – 16:00 (local time)
- Session 2: Saturday, 07 March at 16:30 to 17:30 (local time)
- Session 3: Monday, 09 March at 13:15 to 14:30 (local time)
- Session 4: Monday, 09 March at 15:00 – 16:00 (local time)
- Please see the Sched schedule for more information: https://icann85.sched.com/
Please find attached a PDF document for your convenience, outlining the agenda items for each session. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the agenda and make sure you come prepared to the meeting. The required reading for the meetings is outlined below:
- Working Group Charter
- Final Issue Report
- Consensus Playbook [gnso.icann.org]
- GNSO Working Group Guidelines [gnso.icann.org] & PDP Manual [gnso.icann.org]
Once you have completed your document review, please confirm here. So far we have not received any confirmations.
The goal of this exercise is to ensure that everyone is starting off on the same page with the same foundation of information, which will enable us to be a more effective team.
We will also use the sessions to do a round of verbal introductions so we can get to know each other but also share expectations and concerns early in the PDP processes. Please be prepared to speak briefly (no more than one minute) about your relevant experience and any objectives you have for participating.
In addition, a document library is included on the WG workspace (see https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DAMP1/pages/766312449/4.+Background+Documents ). An understanding of these documents and their contents will help to ensure your full and productive participation in WG deliberations. More materials will be added to this space as the PDP kicks off.
Kind regards,
Paul McGrady
