Presenting your “can’t live with” items
There remain a handful of items that have been tagged “can’t live with”. You’ll be called upon tomorrow to present yours if you still have one in the collaboration document. To be ready, please: 1. Indicate what problem you are trying to solve. 2. Explain how it’s not already resolved by updates made to the documents and/or in other Recommendations. 3. Indicate whether or not your proposed text is mandatory from your point of view or if you are open to it being iterated by the WG 4. If not open to iteration, please confirm that the group that sent you has authorized you to walk away from the negotiation table if you doing get this specific text. I’ve asked staff to send around slides for tomorrow’s session as soon as practical (within an hour or so). Please keep an eye out so that you have a chance to review them before we meet Thanks all. Hi Everyone, Just a note to say thank you to all of you for the hard work while in session in Seville. I think with the exception of the placement of the definition of accessible data (in the Policy or in Implementation Guidance) we resolved all the big issues. I understand that IPC and the Registrars are meeting on Friday to try to get to compromise language they can present to the WG. Go get 'em! We will be working off a draft report soon! Yes, there will be wordsmithing and details to work out, so don't hang up your skates quite yet. I hope you all had safe travels home. Talk soon!
