Notes
- Feodora took the Small Team through the following
slides
- Seb noted that there are a lot of GAC eyes on this so the lead of this group will facilitate the introduction of this team lead to the GAC DNS abuse team
- Jen Chung volunteered for the Small Team Lead
- Weekly meeting cadence established Thursdays at 14:10 UTC
- Jen asked about the overall timeline of phases, will this group have time at ICANN83?
- Thomas discussed the integration of how the community at ICANN is working on DNS abuse and data review for who the Small Team may want to reach out to. There are many groups
that want to give input, and it cannot be solved by one
- Sam discussed the proposed timeline and now that they know we have this small team up and running, others want to share their ideas with us. What we get done between now and
Prague. Proposed prioritizing data analysis so that we can take in more input from the community
- Take the time to review the data we currently must see what we can derive from it in the meetings prior to ICANN83
- Briefing to GAC at the bilateral meeting at ICANN83
- Raised the question of observers
- Farzi raised the question of what our homework is and we should start prepping briefing to GAC on the mailing list
- Query of the nature of the recommendation that this Small Team will come up with
- Homework: review the data from the INFERMAL study, the Small Team report, and compliance reports
- Sam between now and Prague, the output of homework is not reaching recommendations, but it could inform questions that we bring to different community groups during the outreach
