In support of agenda item 4 below, leadership and staff worked on developing some framing for the ICANN74 session. You’ll see that the session is envisaged as being split between updates and working session. For the updates portion, the framing preparation is fairly robust and can be found in this Google doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lwsDoe_UUsJLuKPyXyv_pr4vALcK6bHpI4n5tciYLiE/edit

 

This document was developed and is being shared for at least two reasons. First, it makes sense that the small team is on the same page for its ICANN74 session. Secondarily, DNS abuse is on the agenda for the bilateral sessions with both the ccNSO and GAC, so presumably, these same points and messaging can be leveraged there as well. By sharing in advance here and providing time to discuss and amend as necessary, small team members can have greater comfort about what will be said by Mark and Paul at ICANN74.
