Proposed agenda and materials for review - DNS Abuse Small Team meeting on Monday 17 April at 19.00 UTC
Dear Small Team members, As you will have seen, we are bringing the band back together early next week. As responses have now been received from all groups in relation to the questions on bulk registrations and the contractual negotiations, Council leadership has indicated that it might be helpful for the small team to take a first stab at reviewing the responses and then sharing the findings with the GNSO Council for further consideration. Mark has kindly taken a first stab at developing a preliminary evaluation of the responses (see attached) to facilitate the discussion (note that due to an oversight the DNSAI response has not been included yet). Of course, you are all expected to do your own homework as well and review the full responses which can be found here: https://community.icann.org/x/aQKjDQ - under the heading documents. The proposed agenda for Monday’s meeting is as follows: 1. Welcome 2. Reactions to responses received: * ICANN Compliance * RySG * RrSG * DNS Abuse Institute 3. Preliminary conclusions 4. Confirm next steps We look forward to speaking to you on Monday. Best regards, Steve & Marika
Thanks, Marika. Not sure if you could answer the following question or if Mark should be the one to answer the same since he authored the preliminary evaluation? Did the DNSAI response on the matter of bulk registrations not merit a paragraph or was it simply melded with the one from RySG because there appears to be overlap between the two? I think the DNSAI response had several interesting suggestions not mentioned by RySG. Or am I missing something altogether? Hi Justine – I think our emails may have crossed, but I just sent out an updated version that includes a summary of the DNSAI response. The lack of inclusion in the original document was just an oversight. Of course, if there are any specific suggestions that you think the small team should further consider, please feel free to call these out or bring them up during the call later today.
