Dear EPDP Team Members,

Thanks all for your careful review, including the folks that confirmed that the Initial Report is ready to publish for public comment! The staff team has integrated the changes/suggestions from Zuan and nearly all suggestions from Michael – we did not amend the section on IDN table harmonization as we were informed it was primarily the RySG that worked with ICANN org. We also made a super minor change to help make clear why two specific pieces of Implementation Guidance are not indented, the reason being that they are independent of any Preliminary Recommendations. Unless any last second amendments are required, your staff team will begin the steps tomorrow to publish the attached version of the Initial Report for public comment.

Dear EPDP Team Members,

Thank you all for your kind feedback related to the new contents that Steve shared last week.

Please find attached the long-awaited draft of the P2 Initial Report (word doc.). With the report hot off the press, kindly note that the leadership team has not yet had the opportunity to fully review the report, but due to time limits, they will be doing so alongside the team.

The Initial Report is scheduled to be published for Public Comment on 11 April 2024. Accordingly, the Staff would greatly appreciate all your kind review, providing feedback and comments, if any, by Tuesday, 9 April 2024 EOD, giving us a full day in preparation for publication.
