During today’s meeting, the EPDP Team discussed two options for updating its project plan, breaking its work into two parts (top-level and second-level):

• Option 1: Publish two Initial Reports and one Final Report (one phase)
• Option 2: Publish two Initial Reports and two Final Reports (two phases)

To get the temperature of the room, an inform poll regarding the two options was conducted during today’s call. Option 2 is preferred as a result.

This message intends to confirm with the EPDP Team that Option 2 is the path forward for updating the project plan. Those who were not able to attend today’s meeting are especially welcome to share your view. Subject to no objection by EOB Friday, 14 October, the leadership team will plan to inform the GNSO Council during its 20 October meeting about the proposed two-phased approach for updating its project plan.

Staff have also attached the updated project plan (expanded and collapsed versions), as well as the draft project change request for your reference (PCR to be submitted to the GNSO Council by 7 November 2022).
