Re: agenda item 4: You may have seen that in support of the ICANN Board’s resolution to adopt the majority of recommendations from the Final Report on the new gTLD Subsequent Procedures PDP, the Board directed ICANN org to deliver an implementation plan no later than 1 August 2023, which amongst a number of activities, requires the completion of four specific deliverables. One of those deliverables requires this EPDP Team to identify all charter questions that will impact the next Applicant Guidebook and provide a revised project plan for the Council that is inclusive of Phase 1 already being worked on now and the so-called Phase 2a questions, to be discussed and agreed upon under agenda item 4. The need for this deliverable was also communicated by the Board to the Council via this letter.
