It will be a good discussion today, since we strongly disagree with this assessment.  Or that one person gets to decide which use cases are valid.

Conflating BC-1 with LEA is a good example of a common misunderstanding, for example.

Sanctions will be imposed on SSAC for violating the use case nonprofileration agreement – and being late, too!

More seriously, here is my take on the earlier use cases. I really think we only need to be discussing 4 or 5 of them, though I have not reviewed the late SSAC cases.

TM                                                    Continue

LEA1                                                 OK to discuss

LEA2                                                 OK to discuss

IPC-Copyright-Civil                        How is it different from TM case?

IPC-Copyright-Criminal                Duplicates LEA1, LEA2

IPC-TM-Criminal                            Duplicates LEA1, LEA2

IPC-UDRP-URS-Due-Process        OK to discuss

BC-1                                                 Duplicates LEA1, LEA2

BC-2                                                 ??

BC-3                                                 Duplicates IPC-Copyright-Civil

BC-4                                                 Unnecessary

BC-5                                                 ??

BC-6                                                 Out of mission

BC-7                                                 Unnecessary

BC-8                                                 Out of mission

BC-9                                                 Unnecessary and out of mission

Subject: [Gnso-epdp-team] [Gnso-edpd-team] Draft Use Cases from SSAC

Greetings ePDP team,

With apologies for the missed deadline, please find attached 3 use cases from SSAC for your review.  As discussed in Marrakech, the hope is that these can help inform our future discussions on disclosure of non-public registration data to security practitioners, reputation providers, and operational security teams.

We look forward to discussion of these and other use cases in the small teams and/or in plenary.

Thank You.
