Also, related to this use case is this recent Bloomberg Article (EU Privacy Laws May be Hampering Pursuit of Terrorists), which shares insight on the problems investigating terrorism under ICANN’s Temp Specification. Although the Article references the experience of law enforcement agencies, large tech platforms also face these issues, as noted in the Cyber Tech Accord Statement posted last year.
