The point of these use cases was to explore and discuss the parameters governing disclosure and accreditation and to see how specific desired uses would be affected by different policies.
I thought we had agreed to limit ourselves to 5 or 6 of these at most, both to economize on time and because we thought that certain patterns would emerge after doing 5 or 6 of them that would make it clearer how a SSAD would respond to
different situations.
Now it looks like we have 15 of them and possibly more on the way. This is unwieldy from a practical standpoint, and deviates from our agreement to limit the number. Fortunately it is fairly easy to winnow these cases down to a more manageable
number, because some of them are largely duplicative/overlapping, and a few are just ill-conceived. I will when I get a bit more time to go over all of them carefully, send a proposal to the list to eliminate many of them. I hope/should be able/ to do this
before tomorrow's call.
