Materials ready for review - Homework week starts!
Dear EPDP Team, The updated recommendations are now ready for your review during homework week which starts now. As discussed yesterday: * The links to the updated recommendations can be found here: https://community.icann.org/x/K4LsBw. Although there are individual entries for each recommendation, note that some of the links contain multiple recommendations where the subject matter is closely connected and/or where the group agreed to integrate the recommendations for consistency and to avoid duplication. * For ease of reading, a clean version of the updated recommendation appears first, followed by a track changes version in which you can see color coded updates that have been made as a result of public comment review. For some, there is even a track changes table that documents where changes were derived from and/or when these were discussed. * Please focus on ‘cannot live with items’ AND make concrete proposals for what should change so your group can live with it, factoring in the positions of other groups. * Minor edits can be flagged as well – others can review these and flag if edits are not considered minor but substantive. * Please note that the proposed language for recommendation #2 has not been received yet from the GAC Team. As a result, we suggest you hold back on your review of recommendation #1 as some updates may need to be made depending on how recommendation #2 ends up. As soon as the proposed language has been received, it will get posted and we will notify the group accordingly. * An updated version of recommendation #15 (financial sustainability) has been posted but note that further changes are likely following Tuesday’s meeting when the remaining questions on the discussion items list are expected to be discussed. * You may also start your review of the discussion tables for the priority 2 items in the addendum which can be found here: https://community.icann.org/x/Hi6JBw (scroll down until after the Initial Report PCRTs). During Tuesday’s meeting, the staff support team will provide a high level overview of the input that has been provided. As a reminder, your groups input is due by Friday 5 June COB at the latest. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. Best regards, Caitlin, Berry and Marika
