22 August deliverable (Early Input)
Hi Everyone: We had a question at the start of the meeting asking about a deliverable on 22 February. During the meeting, I stated that here was no deliverable for that date. I was technically correct but mostly wrong. Please recall the Early Input request. According to the requirements of the policy development process, each SO/AC/SG/C was sent a letter, allowing them to provide Early Input by 22 August. (See: https://go.icann.org/2w82uT7 <https://go.icann.org/2w82uT7> This is a distinct effort from the triage surveys we are currently reviewing. While a separate submission from each SG/AC/SG/C is not mandatory, each SO/AC/SG/C was afforded the opportunity to provide input, if they so choose. It is likely that, because you are on this team, you would have been the one tapped to take on this task. I hope this clarifies the matter for you and I apologize for the lapse in memory. Best regards, Kurt

In an earlier version of the email below, I mis-typed the date that the Early Input responses are due. I have corrected it below. The Early Input is due 22 August. Sorry, Kurt

Kurt, All, Given the early input will be based on the analysis the teams are doing for the triage which is due to be complete by this weekend, I would like to respectfully request some additional time to allow us to meet the 7-day review period required for comments and in put such as this one. If it would be possible to submit our early input on August 29th, allowing for an extra 7 days, it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Sure Alex, that would be fine. As you know, we are chugging ahead with the work at hand. So to the extent the written Early Input will be helpful to that task - the earlier, the better. Nonetheless, it would certainly be accepted whenever received and be on record for review for all work from that point forward. Best regards, Kurt
