Diane Plaut - EPDP Team position
Dear EPDP Team Members- I wanted to let you know that I will not be acting as the EPDP IPC Rep going forward to Phase 2. During the Kobe Meeting I handed in my resignation for this post formally to the IPC and I shared this with certain team members and have now formally shared this with Staff. I am pleased to say that based on the encouragement of many of you, I will be part of the IRT for the EPDP and will look forward to seeing our work through in this capacity and using my legal background and passion around the important issues of our work through the implementation process. I want to thank everyone for the wonderful friendships formed and, the environment of mutual respect, hard work and dedication. I look forward to working with everyone going forward as friends and colleagues on this work stream, through other ICANN work streams and in other avenues in the future. Echoing Alan’s sentiments, below. Thanks for everything, Diane, and in particular for your work during our Toronto F2F. Hope to see you at a future ICANN meeting, and let’s go for a run sometime (assuming you drop your pace a bit)!
