Thanks Marc!  I will ponder if there is anything else to add, but really appreciate this leaping off point for all of us.

All,

Thank you Marika for sending out the link and getting the report started.

I spent a little bit of time thinking about the reporting requirements we are asking for (section 2).  Using the list from the document as a starting point, I tried to flush out the report a little more and came up with the following:

  1. Number of registrars participating (total):
  2. Number of new participating registrars (current reporting period):
  3. Number of requestors (total):
  4. Number of new requestors (current reporting period):
  5. Number of disclosure requests (total and current reporting period):
  6. Number of disclosure requests by priority (total and current reporting period):
  7. Number of disclosure requests by requestor type (LEA, IP, Cybersecurity, etc) (total and current reporting period):
  8. Number of disclosure requests broken out by participating and non-participating registrars (total and current reporting period):
  9. Number of open disclosure requests (total):
  10. Number of closed disclosure requests (total and current reporting period):
  11. Number of closed disclosure requests by type (approved, partial approval, rejected, etc), (total and current reporting period):
  12. Average disclosure request response time (total and current reporting period):

I think it makes sense to ask for this report on a monthly basis.  That would be a useful interval for viewing trends and building in natural checkpoints for the small team to monitor and review.

If its useful I could drop this list into the google document, but I wanted to start the conversation here on the mailing list.  Its important that we flush out the reporting requirements as this is the data we would use to evaluate the success or failure of the proof of concept and determine next steps, if we decide to proceed.

Thank you,

Marc
