Dear All, As discussed during Monday’s meeting, Sebastien has sent a status update to the GNSO Council (see https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/council/2022-October/026099.html) in preparation for the Council meeting that is scheduled for Thursday 20 October. Also, following the suggestion from Greg Dibiase, an informal meeting has been scheduled later this week between registrars and ICANN org to further discuss the issue of email forwarding / APIs to see if it is possible to find an approach that is acceptable to registrars and which does not add too much complexity / costs to the implementation of the Whois Disclosure System. The staff support team has gone ahead and applied a number of the proposed edits that were focused on clarifying the language as well as updates based on the discussion earlier this week and the ICANN org responses provided. In order to continue the conversation and provide an update to the small team on the informal discussion between registrars and ICANN org, we will be scheduling the next meeting of the small team on Tuesday 18 October at 14.00 UTC.
