Dear WG members,

Here is the proposed agenda for the next WG call on Wednesday 17 December, 1700 UTC:

1. Roll Call/Updates to SOI
2. Briefing on 2005 WIPO Secretariat Report on Article 6ter (see attached; briefing will be conducted either by the WG co-chairs or ICANN staff)
3. Continue brainstorming and general discussion on possible alternative basis for standing (other than trademarks) and on the sovereign immunity question (see the 2007 draft text for an alternative dispute resolution, attached)
4. Next steps

Please note that, per the co-chairs’ previous emails, this call is meant for general discussion purposes. As such, no decisions will be taken until after the New Year, when further research progress and possibly initial responses from the GAC and the IGOs may be forthcoming. 

The two documents attached for review and discussion had been uploaded to the WG wiki some time ago, as part of the Background Materials for our work. For your convenience, they are attached to this email – once again, for information and discussion purposes.
