As you may know, the next ICANN Meeting (https://meetings.icann.org/en/helsinki56) will be the first installment of the 4-day “B” meeting format to focus on SO/AC/SG/C policy work and outreach (per the new meetings strategy https://meetings.icann.org/en/future-meeting-strategy).

In this context, we would like to gather your thoughts on whether a face-to-face meeting of the IGO/INGO Identifier Protection Implementation Review Team should be organized on this occasion.

We would appreciate your feedback as soon as possible, ideally by next Tuesday 19 April COB in your timezone.

We’ll discuss this as one of the topics at our IRT meeting but it would be helpful to gather your thoughts before then.

Some good news on the project.

At ICANN55, we reported that we were having difficulty finding a good at ECOSOC.

With the assistance of ICANN’s Global Stakeholder Engagement team, we had an introduction phone conference with UN DESA staff in charge of management of the ECOSOC list.  We further learned that the list is updated once a year around September.  We have more to report on this at our next meeting but for now, we wanted you to know that we are making progress on this front.
