Dear IGO/INGO IRT,
Attached is an updated draft version 11. Specifically, we’ve made it clearer that it’s the DNS Labels that are getting the protection by adding those words.
“second-level domain names corresponding
to the DNS Label(s) of
all identifiers recorded on the Red Cross, IOC and IGO Identifier List found here: “
We’ll do a quick review of this at our IRT meeting tomorrow and then discuss the upcoming public comment and next steps including plans for the ICANN59.
For the public comment, we are thinking of highlighting a few areas to invite comments.
1.
IGO list – the fact that we do not have the 2nd language list from GAC yet.
2.
DNS Conversion Rules.
3.
INGO Claims notice: that this is not to be confused with TMCH
Let’s discuss these and more to get the most out of the public comment. I know that there are parallel activities regarding IGO/INGO and it could easily get confusion. Let’s work together to focus on this
project scope.
