Subject: [Gnso-igo-ingo-ip-irt] IGO/INGO Policy Implementation: no public comments yet, ICANN59 plan
Dear IGO/INGO IRT,
No public comment to date so nothing to report on that front.
However, the comments tend to come in towards the end of the period so we can expect to be very busy on 11 July 2017.
The duration from the 10 July 2017 comment close date to 1 August 2017 publication date is very tight,
So, we need to do as much as we can now in preparation to ensure that we make the 1 August 2017.
I’ll be writing to you separately on issues we need to deal with as they come up between our IRT meetings.
The next IRT meeting will be in ICANN59. The meeting time we have planned didn’t work due to conflict.
Currently, we are looking at 12:00 – 13:00 on Tuesday, 27 June 2017 for the IRT meeting.
This time follows the CRP PDP WG meeting 10:30-12:00 and is most promising in terms of low conflict.
Michelle will send you a meeting invite to hold this time on your calendar.
The other session you might be interested in is
GAC Session on the IGO/Red Cross Protection Update on Monday, 14:30 -15:00
Also, at the GNSO Council Public Meeting on Wednesday, 13:00 – 15:00, we may learn more about the 190 Red Cross names.
