I will be tracking this item closely and will report when I see a reply from the GAC. For those who were not at the meeting, we’ve also discussed the INGO Claims System development strategy. * The implementation for the claims system has paused to consider the following: * Next steps for the INGO Claims is to create a claims system specification * An opportunity to improve efficiency is uncovered while examining the outstanding work on IGO and INGO * There are potential demands for other claims services related to this policy such as Reconvened PDP WG on Red Cross and IGO Acronyms. * It would be prudent to bundle this into a single effort for economies of scale thus avoiding redesign and duplicated work for the implementation team, IRT, technical community, and contracted parties. * GDPR impact for the contact information also needs to be considered * The current policy implementation for INGO results in a small number of remaining TLDs to be delegated in late 2019. Therefore, waiting for other claims system requirements would not result in a significant impact while saving significant cost in system development and annual maintenance. Just this morning, Red Cross representative has submitted a list of names with variations to the Reconvened PDP WG. I expect this list will eventually be a subject for the IRT for implementation. As for the ICANN62, we are not planning for an IRT meeting. However, as I will be attending and many of you, we could convene a meeting if need arises.
