There are two issues in this thread, so I want to be specific to remove any confusion.  The first issue is my presentation to the GNSO Council as Chair of the SCI.  I am prepared to make that presentation on either Saturday or Sunday, as you wish.  The second issue (and first note in this thread) is the day/time for a face-to-face SCI member meeting in Beijing.  On that front, I had asked Glen for a room and time as late on Sunday afternoon as possible to try to accommodate committee members who are flying in Sunday for the Monday morning start of the ICANN meeting.

 

I understand your email of today to be regarding the SCI Chair presentation.  Is this correct?  Please advise.

I may be able to move some things to accommodate Sunday afternoon -- much depends on what we hear from the Board and GAC regarding their availability.  Could I ask you to stand by for a bit?

it may be helpful to coordinate with Mason who is preparing for the entire GNSO schedule in Beijing. At the time being there is SCI update schduled on Saturday afternoon.

I apologize for not remembering to bring this up on our call yesterday, but I would like to maintain the practice of having a face-to-face meeting in Beijing.  I have asked the GNSO Secretariat for a room for one hour (late in the day) on Sunday, April 7th in an effort to accommodate all that are arriving on that day.  As soon as I have further information on this, I will forward it to you.
