As noted on today's SCI call, in order for the SCI's proposed documentation of the Current Practice in Relation to Motions to be considered by the GNSO Council at its meeting in Dublin at ICANN 54, it must be delivered to the Council no later than Sunday, 11 October (deadline for documents and motions). Accordingly, please review the attached letter and accompanying documents. Note that the proposed documentation of the Current Practice in Relation to Motions is the same that was sent to the SCI to review on Monday, 05 October after it was modified to address suggestions from Amr and Wolf-Ulrich Knoben. Also, as noted on today's call because the SCI is not recommending changes to the GNSO Council Operating Procedures relating to this issue at this time, it was determined that it is not necessary to hold a Consensus Call to deliver the letter and documentation. Thus, unless there are objections or changes to the letter and documentation by COB tomorrow, 09 October, the letter will be transmitted to Jonathan Robinson, Chair of the GNSO Council, along with the letter on the issue of resubmitted motions previous accepted by the SCI in a Consensus Call.
