Best regards, Julie Julie Hedlund, Policy Director Action Items/Discussion Notes 06 September 1. Subject Area Work Plan: Discussion Notes: · Question: What do we mean by "Applicant Guidebook"? Answer -- Jeff Neuman: There are a couple of questions associated with this. They are listed in the Final Issues Report. Also on the Work Track 1 Sub Team topic page at: https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=60490732. · Prioritization: Policy vs. implementation. AGB would probably fall into implementation. Need to think about prioritization before deciding on the work plan. However, if there is no preference there is no reason to change the order. It was already decided to start with accreditation. · Question: Donna Austin -- Need to prioritize what is policy? Answer: Jeff Neuman -- Prioritize in terms of subjects. · Vanda Scartezini -- prioritize communication. · All topics may have policy and implementation aspects. Prioritize on policy versus implementation -- look at Final Issue Report. · Also look at clustering related topics., such as AGB. · Accreditation is a priority; clarity of the application process; leave systems and queuing for after other topics. 2. Prioritization of Work: Action Items: Christa and Sara will do a first pass on a draft of the prioritization. Discussion Notes: · Number 1 (to run concurrently): Accreditation -- think about pros and cons for RSPs. To what extent can we use the 2012 process? Also, support for applicants from developing countries (but applicant support may be ongoing because of dependencies with other topics) · Number 2: AGB. · Outreach to the community: Need to decide the questions first. Good to do in the near future. 3. Work Methods: Discussion Notes: Consider whether to use Google docs and or other tools.
