Dear Martin, Dear Co-Leads: With reference to the Long and short form of country and territory names (ISO 3166), I am not aware of a decision to defer that discussion. Wouldn't it be rather inconsistent to begin a discussion of the geographical names that are NOT included in ISO3166 (point 4 of the agenda) whereas those names that ARE included in ISO3166 would be deferred? Christopher, Please refer back to the last two meetings by way of confirmation but the direction of the group is to treat this AGB category the same as before ("Support for maintaining the status quo, i.e. not available”). The reference to deferring a discussion relates to the points raised during the meetings whereby some interest was shown towards making these available but under terms that would not be aligned to GNSO policy/ICANN contracts. These discussions would be out of scope for WT5 but could occur any time in the future. Long/short form country names that are not on ISO 3166 can be considered under item 4 on the agenda, so it would be beneficial to reach that section of the agenda in good time on our call this evening.
