On behalf of co-chairs, I am forwarding to the full Working Group an e-mail we received this morning from the Registry Service Provider Discussion Group of gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group.  Registry Service Providers (RSPs) are those that provide the technical back-end services for Registry Operators.  In some cases, the RSP is the same entity as the Registry Operator, but in many cases a Registry Operator outsources its registry services to a third party RSP.

Although it primarily relates to Work Tracks 1 and 4 in discussing a potential RSP pre-approval process, much of it relates to other discussions that they are having with ICANN staff on other issues. I wanted to send it to the full group in case anyone else was interested in reviewing.
