As to the best practices you mentioned, I think it would be helpful for you to share what works well for GAC Working Groups, although I would note that policy development within the GNSO is subject to certain requirements in the ICANN Bylaws, the GNSO PDP Manual, and the GNSO WG Guidelines; any additional practices cannot be contrary to those requirements. Please see the related links in the General GNSO Processes & Background section here on this PDP WG’s Wiki page: https://community.icann.org/x/PAp1Aw. With that caveat, I’ll be happy to add the best practices you mentioned, once sent to me or the WG, to that same Wiki page.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the call today, as some unexpected domestic matters will keep me busy.

I am very interested in participating and by the way I would like to send you the best practice principles that some GAC countries have developed in the GAC Working Group on Protection of Geo names in new gTLDs.

Perhaps this document can be posted in the wiki space?

I will follow up´with recordings and notes from the meeting.
