Proposed Path Forward
Sent on behalf of Avri Doria, Stephen Coates and Jeff Neuman All, Thank you for all of the great discussion on the mailing list and during yesterday's call regarding the leadership structure of this working group moving forward. The three of us agree with all of the comments that have been made about the large workload that is ahead of us and that the Working Group would in fact benefit from having co-chairs. Therefore, our proposal is that the three of us share in the Chairing responsibilities going forward. As we each come from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, we believe that we can each add our own unique expertise to the group and at the same time split the work load. If that is acceptable to the Working Group, the three of us would then lead the efforts through Marrakech and the finalization of the work plan. Though this is in no way dictating the path forward, as discussed on the call and on the list, we believe that once the work plan is finalized, there will likely be a need for sub-teams and additional members to the leadership team to help coordinate and guide those discussions. I know that there are a couple of other people that have volunteered to serve as "Vice Chairs" and we fully expect that they will be the first ones to come forward to help lead those sub teams. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to working with you. Best regards, Avri, Jeff & Stephen Jeffrey J. I know that there are a couple of other people that have volunteered to serve as “Vice Chairs” and we fully expect that they will be the first ones to come forward to help lead those sub teams.
Thanks again for your support and we look forward to working with you.
Best regards,
Avri, Jeff & Stephen
