Hi, Am I mistaken, or doesn't the ccNSO-GNSO CWG deal with ineligible strings on top-level? "Reserved names" sounds very much like the "top-level reserved names list" (2.2.1.2.1 in the 2012 AG) like: "example" or "gac"! But I doubt that the ccNSO-GNSO CWG tries to prey ".gac" out of the hands of the GAC. It is my understanding that they discuss the formerly "unavailable strings" - for which there is no "one list" (e.g. ISO 3166 Alpha 3 code elements AND their permutations or territory names and their short forms). In this respect: The track 2 seems to deal with the second label. Right? During the 2007 PDP there was a WG that dealt with "reserved names" - and THAT one dealt with the 2nd and the top-level. In case track 2 also deals with the top-level it should be specified that it does so. The term "reserved names" describes ONLY a small subset of ICANN community related strings (GAC, ICANN, etc) - territory names were not "reserved" - they were simply "not available". I am also very interested in participating in the work track that would deal with ISO 3166 Alpha 3 codes for the top-level.
