Proposed agenda - New gTLD Subsequent Procedures PDP WG - Tuesday, 14 April at 03:00 UTC
Dear all, Please find below the proposed agenda for the call on Tuesday, 14 April 2020 at 03:00 UTC for 90 minutes. Proposed Agenda: 1. Review Agenda/Updates to Statements of Interest 2. Discussion of Final Report Topics: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kUlmZH8nxWTgfcRluA5FxLheMm4XhhOwkRt7om52... * 2.10.1 Base Registry Agreement, Section C New Issues, start on page 77 * 2.4 Application Change Requests, page 79 3. AOB If you need a dial out or would like to submit an apology, please email gnso-secs@icann.org<mailto:gnso-secs@icann.org>. Kind regards, Julie Julie Hedlund, Policy Director
Thanks Julie. @Jeff and Cheryl - Re AOB, I wonder whether we could discuss the proposed response letter to the GAC re the timing of issuance of the Final Report at the top of the meeting. It seems this is an important matter that got crammed into a few minutes at the end of the last call. What I am wondering is whether we could approach the Final Report as we did the Initial Report, e.g. issue it in 2 stages – covering most everything in our new timeline and then issuing a Supplemental Final Report in a manner that would allow GAC members to convene in the virtual ICANN68 to discuss the same issues that were reviewed with them in ICANN67. I honestly believe it will be to our advantage as a WG (and to the long run advantage of the next round) to take an approach that is responsive to the GAC letter and shows a willingness to collaborate and work together.
