Dear All,
Following our meeting in Kobe, staff has gone ahead and populated the Slack space that was created by Rafik. We have created a channel for each improvement and posted the relevant information / action item
in relation to that improvement. There is also a channel where you can find the latest version of the implementation plan with a proposed categorization of the different improvements. We’ll be sending you the invite to join the workspace shortly.
For those new to Slack, I would recommend you start here for an introduction and the basics:
https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/115004071768. I highly recommend you download the app. After you have entered the workspace, please click on ‘channels’ and you should be able to browse
all channels. This will allow you to visit each channel and subscribe yourself.
As there is quite some information to review and digest (we also posted some of the materials that staff had committed to develop), we would like to suggest to schedule our first meeting for the week of 1
April. Of course, that shouldn’t prevent you from already sharing your perspectives and/or start a dialogue through the different Slack channels.
We have also found a way to post the archives of the Slack channels so that the broader audience is able to follow the discussions.
The export consists of a series of JSON files: one per channel per day with activity, plus a file containing information about all members of the workspace. It does not archive any private conversations.
We can discuss during our next call with what frequency these archives should get posted.
Best regards,
Marika
