Dear WG members,
As I'd mentioned in my last email, we have requested a room and time slot during the ICANN meeting this week in Buenos Aires for the group. This has been included in the ICANN public schedule and will be for Thursday 21 November, from 8.00-9.00 a.m. Buenos
Aires time (ie at 1100 UTC, for an hour). Although we are still in the Call for Volunteers phase, it seems a good opportunity for those either attending the ICANN meeting in person or who are able to participate remotely to get together, do some introductions
and chat informally about the work to be done.
As the meeting is also on the ICANN public schedule, it may be a good opportunity to get suggestions and comments from community members who may choose to attend as well. It is an open meeting, so non-WG members are very welcome to participate – so please
feel free let interested members of your constituencies, stakeholder groups and communities know of the meeting.
For those WG members in Buenos Aires, the meeting will be in Retiro B (the room where the GNSO met over the weekend.) The room will be set up with an Adobe Connect virtual meeting room including audio and chat facilities for remote participation.
There will also be pastries, coffee and tea :)
