I’m just back from some vacation so thanks for the nudge :)   I plan to take a look at the update WG Review Tool tomorrow - so I suggest we try to have a sub-group call early next week.  

 

Assuming early morning pacific time works best for the group I’m available between 8-10am pacific on Monday, after our PPSAI call on Tuesday (8-10am pacific) and between 7-9am pacific on wednesday.

As noted in my last message and per the WG call earlier today, I’ve now updated this Sub Team’s Public Comment Review Tool with relevant comments that were otherwise posted or included elsewhere less appropriate (e.g. in the overall WG Review Tool where a commenter placed his/her comment under a different recommendation heading). 

 

I attach the updated Sub Team Tool for your review – to make things easier I’ve highlighted all the additions in yellow (easily removable if you wish). I’ve also uploaded it to the Sub Team wiki.

 

Since this may trigger the need to update the existing Summary documents, please let me know if you would like me to assist with that task.

I’ve uploaded David’s edited document to the Sub Team wiki page: https://community.icann.org/x/zoZCAw (BTW, Val, I think Alex sent the same Google Docs link for both documents so if someone can send me the correct link for Question 1 I’ll correct the links :)

 

FYI – and as a follow up from the WG call earlier today – I’m going back through the WG’s overall Public Comment Review Tool Part 1 (recommendations #1 through #9) to pick out those comments that, while “attached” to other recommendations/questions, are directly relevant to the work of this Sub Team. I’ll send around an updated Sub Team Review Tool as soon as I can – and please note also that this may need further updating once I get through Part 2 of the WG Review Tool (which will, as noted on the WG call, cover recommendations #10 through #20 minus any that are being covered by existing Sub Teams).

 

This DOES mean that the numbers and certain statements in the current summary documents will likely need to be updated; please let me know if you prefer that I do that for the group as well – though if folks are still working on either summary document it may be best if you tell me which version to use if so.

                I’ve made a few changes to 1.3.2 question 2 to incorporate my separate analysis. I think the changes will be fairly uncontroversial (and one was just a proofreading comment where a sentence had become ungrammatical in editing).

But feel free to discuss any issues if you feel my changes have changed the sense of the summary. My apologies for getting this done about 48 hours later than I had intended, I had some unexpected technical issues (had to spend a few hours making my laptop remember it had my email).
