2. Continue discussion on Chapter 4

• ICANN Org presented a table summarizing comments on the Chapter 4 review document and introduced a new column with draft conclusions for SC discussion. 

Summary of Discussion:

· SC members asked for clarification on terminology used in the worksheet, such as “retain” vs. “modify,” and the intent behind the report's findings.

· This exercise is to inform the GNSO Council on the RDRS experience and how this relates to the EPDP Phase 2 Recommendations.

· The conclusions will guide the Council as it discusses the recommendations with the Board.

· The final findings report will include input from all chapters (e.g., lessons learned, system enhancements).

· SC members discussed Rec 1 and 2 and suggested that the Recs as envisioned in the EPDP P2 might not be suitable anymore.

· Disagreement on whether SLAs (Rec10) were truly “not integrated in RDRS”.

· Concerns raised about complexity of SLA calculations due to potential two-way communication.

· SC members proposed future consideration of a “chess clock” model to pause SLA timing during requester response periods.

· SC Members discussed Rec14 Financial Sustainability, and some members noted that it might be difficult to make an assessment on this. 

· SC Members flagged terminology misuse — recommended changing "implemented" to avoid confusion with ICANN Board terminology.

3. AOB – Preparation for ICANN83
   
   

· Two sessions planned at ICANN 83- 9 June and 10 June.

· Participants asked to review and comment on the remaining 12 recommendations before the meeting in the Chapter 4 Review Document.

· Staff will begin drafting Chapter 4 after ICANN83.

· Goal: Sharing the RDRS Report by August for public comment.
