FW: RDRS session in Kigali
Dear Standing Committee, Please find below the invitation I received from the CSG to the session they will organise in Kigali. Kindly, Sebastien Ducos GoDaddy Registry | Senior Client Services Manager [signature_800920110] +33612284445 France & Australia sebastien@registry.godaddy<mailto:sebastien@registry.godaddy> From: Cole, Mason (Perkins Coie) <MCole@perkinscoie.com> Date: Saturday, 20 April 2024 at 10:12 PM To: Sebastien Ducos <Sebastien@registry.godaddy> Cc: philippe.fouquart@orange.com <philippe.fouquart@orange.com>, Lori Schulman <lschulman@inta.org>, Steve Crocker <steve@shinkuro.com> Subject: RDRS session in Kigali Caution: This email is from an external sender. Please do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Forward suspicious emails to isitbad@. Hi Sebastien – Trust all is well. I’m getting in touch about the ongoing dialogue on RDRS – specifically, a CSG initiative to continue the discussion we carried out in San Juan, where we held an outreach session (mainly looking for user points of view) on RDRS. The CSG is planning a similar session during our meeting time in Kigali. I want to make it clear that, like San Juan, we’re interested in a constructive session aimed again at user perspectives with an eye toward improving RDRS. No one is interested in a merely a gripe session or anything of this nature – we’re looking for a serious discussion on potential improvements. CSG leadership (copied here) would like to invite the GNSO small team on RDRS to co-host the session. The advantage to doing so is not only keeping the discussion correctly focused but having the small team hear first-hand about end-user experiences with RDRS. Is this something of interest to you and the team? I believe Steve Crocker will be raising it in your Monday meeting – we didn’t want to take you by surprise. We will be using the CSG’s open meeting slot for this purpose, so nothing pre-empts your small team meeting in Kigali. Kindly let us know your thinking here. Happy to discuss it with you if helpful. We hope you’ll look favorably on the idea. Thanks and speak soon – Mason Mason Cole | Perkins Coie LLP INTERNET GOVERNANCE ADVISOR 1120 N.W. Couch Street Tenth Floor D. +1.503.727.2074 E. Thanks for forwarding. I guess this means that there can be remote participation, as well as recording and transcripts?
