Metric request - Priority changes
Hello, In RDRS the registrar can now change the priority level of a request from Expedited to Standard (and presumably vice versa). Is ICANN tracking the rate of priority level changes? If so, can that please be included in our metrics reporting? And if not, maybe we can start, and also publish it? Hi Sarah, Thanks for your question. We aren’t currently publishing the rate at which changes to priority are made. Let me touch base with the team and get back to you with additional information. Hi Sarah, As a follow up to your inquiry regarding publishing the rate at which changes to priority are made, the chart below can be included in Metric 7 going forward and added to the RDRS Usage Metrics Report published in June. The chart displays the number of requests where priority status was changed from “expedited” to “standard” by the registrar for each month of the pilot. Please let me know if you have additional questions. Hi Sarah, There is no data for priority changes in the other direction, as no registrars have taken that action to date. Hi Lisa, Thanks for confirming that there have been no priority escalations in the RDRS as of yet. My suggestion was that it may be worthwhile to include this metric even while it remains 0 for clarity and completion, but if the group prefers not to then that's also fine.
