Beth is correct. The presenters are not expected to defend the document. For both of these there were differences of opinion, so those differences should be explained if possible; feel free to call on team members to help. Each presenter is expected provide an overview of the document including sharing different points of view where applicable. After that is done, team members will be asked to share any input they have. Then there will be full discussion by everyone attending or participating by phone.

I don’t necessarily think we need to “defend” the document against questions as we’ve had quite a bit of discussion within even our own group. I do think we will have to present the outcome and that discussion that got the group to our output and then be prepared to incorporate input from the rest of the WG. Unfortunately, I’m not able to meet before Saturday’s session, but as long as everyone reviews the final document and is prepared for a discussion I think we should be fine.
