Vaibhav,

You are misreading the situation quite spectacularly.  I will correct only one aspect, since (you are right) I don't have time for more.

For the record, I have a great deal of professional and respect and even affection for Andrew and find him to be among the most knowledgeable and relevant participants in our work. (That doesn't mean I agree with everything he says or writes....)  I would expect that to be roundly seconded (but hope for the sake of traffic  it won't be and will be understood as such; perhaps disagreements only, would be a good approach to minimize email traffic).

I suggest that if you are not interested in other people's opinions on a particular matter, you shouldn't post to the list. You may also wish to consider how important listening and valuing other people's opinions is in a bottom-up, consensus-driven, deliberative process such as this, if you wish your contributions to be meaningful to and valued by others in the long run (as I presume you do).  Please take this in the constructive spirit in which it is being offered.

Best regards,

Greg

It was just a Share for FYI - People have too much time at hand to write mails ? To Asert is anything is relevant or not. In all fairness, if they want to read - so don’t read - Why create a fuss over it ? And I am writing this the 4th time – Hard to read ?
Use Case : I did not find your Pictures relevant so I stayed Quite. Well I did not want to see or know about the trees that does not mean others didn’t or want ?? How is it to me ????
So I am speaking for myself, You wasted my valuable time :-)

And it clearly implies, people don’t like Andrew BUT neither this is of my concern nor anyone asked anyone’s opinion.

VA,

With all respect, I do not think that Michele's message was irrelevant at all.  This is not the place to discuss the IANA transition.  And it is important that we stay focused on our task.  So I suggest that everyone heed his advice.

Please don¹t write such Messages in this List - Its irrelevant !!!
I, can¹t say for others, don¹t need you to tell us if other groups are existing or if IANA was important.

Thanks

All

The IANA transition is a very important and interesting topic for
discussion.

However this PDP¹s mailing list is not the appropriate venue for those
discussions. There are plenty of other mailing lists and groups where
the discussion would be more pertinent.

If you have a burning desire to discuss it with some of this group¹s
members please do so offlist.

Regards

Michele
