Marika Konings: agree with Julie - as this is more of an intro meeting and no decisions are expected, it may be worth moving forward as this is already the second meeting and encourage everyone to review the recording? Marika Konings: The vice-chair would support the chair and take on chair responsibilities in his/her absence Marika Konings: if it is helpful, we can share with the WG an overview of the desired qualities as well as expectations of WG leadership Marika Konings: that may help members and participants determine whether it is something for you Pascal Bekono: I would like to be vice chair here, but my bandwith is not perfect Nathalie Peregrine: Machendra Limaye has joined the audio bridge Marika Konings: Note that the resolution adopting the WG charter said the following with regards to timing: "The GNSO Council directs the GNSO Review Working Group to submit the proposed implementation plan to the GNSO Council for approval at the latest by the ICANN57". Marika Konings: I believe this timing was put in place to align with being able to submit it to the ICANN Board by the end of the Board, but as Wolf-Ulrich noted, the WG will need to determine based on progress in the next couple of weeks whether this will be feasible. Wolf-Ulrich Knoben: How get we punished if we fail??? Marika Konings: you'll get assigned three more Working Groups!! ;-) Marika Konings: that is correct, unless the WG determines that implementation should happen differently Marika Konings: it is probably aligned with how the work teams worked under the last review in which the actual implementation of some of the recommendations was worked out in the form of procedures Marika Konings: but obviously the WG could also delegate some of this work to staff and oversee Pascal Bekono: I agree with all this. Is it possible to have a weekly working plan to be sure to achieve these activities according to priorities ? Sara Bockey (RrSG): Was there a runner up time during the last poll? Perhaps it would work better?? Sara Bockey (RrSG): Thursdays are generally good for me - for what it's worth Marika Konings: it may also be worth to see the spread of timezones for this group to see if any kind of rotation might help?
