Dear GNSO Review Working Group members, It was noted during the meeting on 15 November that attendance has often been low at WG meetings and not all SGs and Cs have been represented. The WG noted that this could be a consequence of the timing of the meetings being inconvenient, but noted also that it would be helpful to confirm the primary and alternate members. Dear All, I have missed the last few meetings (including this morning’s) due to scheduling conflicts and illness. I have been ill since mid-October and hope to see some end to this in the next few weeks. That being said, I am an active participant in RPM review. As a point of information, every 4th RPM review meeting is scheduled at 11:00 pm-12:30 am EST and then invariably I have a GNSO review meeting 7.5 hours later. That means I cannot get a full night of sleep. This not healthy and impedes my participation. The bi-weekly meeting time of this group seems to perfectly coordinate with the RPM late evening for me. Dear Lori, I apologize but I misread your message. If I am not misunderstanding, it seems that your concern is that the RPM meeting occurred late on 29 November for some time zones, while the GNSO Review meeting occurred early on 30 November. That is not ideal, but we did move the GNSO Review to the later time of 1300 UTC versus 1200 UTC and the late RPM call only occurs once a month and generally will not coincide with the GNSO Review call the next day. For example, the next RPM call at the 0400 UTC time falls on 21 December, while the next GNSO Review call falls on 14 December and there is no call on 21 December (or 28 December during the holiday week). The next possibility for a clash would be on 01 February, but the WG is likely to move that meeting due to other conflicts. Thus, I hope we’ll be able to minimize distress for members of both Working Groups.
