In regard to item 3, in reaching out to IP law firms and organizations I think we should emphasize that we are seeking responses from both corporations with large IP portfolios, and small and medium businesses with few trademarks.  We should also encourage organizations we reach out to to attempt to solicit participation by companies and individuals outside their membership.

Thanks Ariel,

On item 3, you may consider also reaching out to ECTA:  http://www.ecta.org/committees/detail/internet-committee

(The MARQUES corollary is called the Cyberspace Team:  https://www.marques.org/teams/teamoverview.asp?TeamCode=cybeteam.)

On item 4, also noting that AG sets targets for statistical significance, building on the outreach planned in item 6, perhaps this should go beyond NCSG/ALAC membership to other SGs (perhaps less, ACs), and Research now SSI (as listed for item 5).

I realize there may be an imprecise art to this, and a lot of thinking has already gone into it, so I only suggest this to cast as wide a net as possible.

Subject: [Gnso-rpm-data] Sunrise & Claims Survey Distribution Plans and Response Rate

Dear Data Sub Team members,

Analysis Group have discussed with staff the proposed distribution plans and target response rates for the Sunrise & Claims surveys.

Depending on how quickly we would be able wrap up the TM survey, we may or may not get to discuss the survey distribution plans during tomorrow’s call. We hereby relay the information and kick off the discussion about this topic on the mailing list, so all Sub Team members could review and chime in.

We would greatly appreciate your input and feedback!

Thank you,

Mary, Julie, Ariel, and Berry
