Actions:

By Tuesday, 12 February at 18:00 UTC (see separate email for details), the Sunrise Sub Team is tasked to:

1. Review the Analysis Group Independent Review of TMCH Services and AG’s responses to follow up questions in the ‘Source’ tab of the analysis tool; provide input in the Google Docs set up for ALL Sunrise Charter Questions. (note: the first 38 pages of the AG report should be the focus, and the rest of the report are appendices; AG’s follow up responses should be fast to read through)
2. Provide further input on the source documents assigned for previous weeks, if any, in the Google Docs set up for all Sunrise Charter Questions.

Instructions:

• When providing input, please note the source name and page/slide number of the previously collected data.
• By the deadline, the Google Docs will be locked to prevent further editing and their PDFs will be circulated to the Sub Team. Staff will accept and indicate the new input in the Google Doc for the ease of viewing.

Preamble Sunrise Charter Question:

-- Comments from Griffin: Agree with some of the data George had highlighted -- registry operators and Sunrise registrations.  Also Donuts responses -- registrants not able to get their SMD file in time.  Etc.  [See Griffin's comments once they are added]

-- Comments from Kathy:  Documents shed light on the question, specifically (a) and (b) with respect to unintended consequences.  Donuts (compilaton of registry responses) -- use of the SMD file.  [See comments in the document.]

Discussion:

-- If we look at each individual TLD we might get the wrong impression (on number of Sunrise registrations) need to look across the entire universe.

-- If the number of Sunrise registrations are low it seems like there wasn't the expansion that was expected.

-- Try not to make assumptions on data from 3 registries.

Sunrise Charter Question 1:

-- Comments from Griffin: Will add comments non-exact matches to marks in the TMCH.

-- Comments from Kathy Kleiman: Inability of Deloitte to have identical matches and look at abuse of the TM.
