Instructions:
Source Documents:
Newly Assigned
Previously Assigned
Google Docs:
Notes:
1. Updates to Statements of Interest (SOIs): No update provided.
2. Begin analysis of first four (4) data sources of previously collected data with respect to the Claims Charter Questions:
Preamble Sunrise Charter Question:
-- Comments from Griffin: Agree with some of the data George had highlighted -- registry operators and Sunrise registrations. Also Donuts responses -- registrants not able to get their SMD file in time. Etc. [See Griffin's comments once they are added]
-- Comments from Kathy: Documents shed light on the question, specifically (a) and (b) with respect to unintended consequences. Donuts (compilaton of registry responses) -- use of the SMD file. [See comments in the document.]
Discussion:
-- If we look at each individual TLD we might get the wrong impression (on number of Sunrise registrations) need to look across the entire universe.
-- If the number of Sunrise registrations are low it seems like there wasn't the expansion that was expected.
-- Try not to make assumptions on data from 3 registries.
Sunrise Charter Question 1:
-- Comments from Griffin: Will add comments non-exact matches to marks in the TMCH.
-- Comments from Kathy Kleiman: Inability of Deloitte to have identical matches and look at abuse of the TM.
Sunrise Charter Question 2:
-- No new comments from last week, but did not discuss last week.
-- Data identified by George Kirikos.
Sunrise Charter Question 3:
-- No relevant data (from the first 4 documents).
Sunrise Charter Question 4:
-- Some data submitted by George Kirikos.
Sunrise Charter Question 5a:
-- No data identified from the first 4 data sources.
Sunrise Charter Question 5b:
4. AOB: Work Plan/Timeline:
-- Noted the request to extend the timeline/calls.
-- As with URS sub teams there was a lot of work.
-- Homework: Decide based on how we proceed on this call.
