Please also note the following: o The Draft Report on the TMCH Independent Review, prepared by the Analysis Group, is scheduled to be published for public comment on Monday 25 July. Please try to review the draft report if you can prior to the next Sub Team call. o A call with Greg Rafert of the Analysis Group has been scheduled for next Friday 29 July for 90 minutes beginning at 1500 UTC – the Sub Team will spend the first 30 minutes reviewing the Draft Report for any additional topics/questions, and Greg will join the call at 1530 UTC. · Review and agree on list of topics/questions for the TMCH Provider – please see Section D, Pages 1-2, of the attached Updated Scoping Document. · Review and suggest documents and other materials for analysis (either by this Sub Team or the WG) – suggestions will be added to Section B of the Updated Scoping Document. · In order to ensure a good turnout for the discussion with Greg Rafert next Friday, please let ICANN staff know if you will not be able to make it for the call as soon as possible. However, he has blocked his calendar for a possible call with our Sub Team next Friday 29 July at 1500 UTC. Hopefully this will allow us to use this week’s call to complete our review of the background material (see Action Item #2, below) as well as to discuss what topics/questions we would like Greg and his team to address with us (see Action Item #3, below). Review the slides and transcript from the TMCH Review session at ICANN56 in Marrakech: https://meetings.icann.org/en/marrakech55/schedule/thu-tmch-review (under “Materials”). For those not on the call today, this Marrakech session included a presentation on the scope and methodology for the ongoing TMCH Independent Review being conducted by The Analysis Group for ICANN. The Sub Team members who attended the call today agreed that we should invite The Analysis Group to our next Sub Team call, to discuss their data collection methods and challenges, and to figure out what gaps might exist as between their work and ours. As such, it was agreed that it would be helpful to have the Sub Team review the Marrakech materials ahead of the call. 3. Please find attached a short document, which contains the following: (1) the Working Group Charter questions concerning the TMCH (provided for purposes of framing the data collection that our Sub Team will be doing); (2) some initial suggestions for data sources and types of data we might wish to seek; and (3) existing data sources that ICANN staff used for the RPM Review Paper that was one of the background source documents for this PDP. We expect that the Sub Team work will focus on (2), but hope that the other sections and contents provide useful guidance and information.
