The IGO CRP WG is expected to be winding up its work soon. As I also Co-Chair that group (along with Petter Rindforth, who is also a member of the RPM WG) we will work with staff to find another day and time on which to schedule its few remaining calls. Wednesday was the only day that worked for both the Co-Chairs and staff as a long-term time slot for the RPM WG.

Mary,

The Wednesday meeting appears to conflict with the IGO/INGO Curative rights working group.   Although we be winding down this year, how do we handle the conflict until our work is concluded?

Subject: [gnso-rpm-wg] Update on mailing list issues, and reminder of proposed meeting times for this Working Group

Dear all,

Our IT colleagues have confirmed that there was indeed an issue with certain Mailman mailing lists earlier today that occurred between 1600 UTC – 2100 UTC. We are informed that the system causing this issue has been fixed, and should not be occurring any longer. Please let us know if you continue to experience any problems that you believe are traceable to the ICANN system.

** To all Members ** – I am sending this update appended to an earlier message regarding proposed future meeting times for this Working Group’s Members. Please see below for the suggested times and dates, and let us know if you have any objections or concerns by Monday 2 May

Please note further that Monday 2 May is also the last day for transmitting any objections you may have about having Phil Corwin, J Scott Evans and Kathy Kleiman confirmed as the three co-chairs of this Working Group.

Thanks and cheers

Mary

Subject: Proposed meeting times for this Working Group

Please note the following times that are being proposed by the Working Group’s prospective leadership team for the next call (which will include Observers) and the regular Working Group meetings that will begin in the week of 9 May (which will be limited to Members only):

Next week only:

  • Wednesday 4 May, 2230 UTC (Members and Observers)

Beginning the week of 9 May:

  • Members’ rotational meetings to be scheduled every Wednesday, with three Wednesday meetings at 1600 UTC (0900 Pacific; 1200 Eastern; 1700 London; 1800 Johannesburg; 0000 HK/Singapore, 0200 Sydney/Melbourne) and every fourth meeting at 2100 UTC (1400 Pacific; 1700 Eastern; 2200 London; 2300 Johannesburg; 0500 HK/Singapore; 0700 Sydney/Melbourne).

To convert UTC to your timezone, see http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

We realize that with the size of our Working Group and the geographical spread of our membership, it will likely be impossible to find times that will work for everyone. As such, Members are asked to provide any objections or other feedback on the proposed regular meeting times via email to this mailing list (or if you prefer, privately to ICANN staff) by Monday 2 May so that the proposed co-chairs can consider all views on the matter.

Thanks and cheers

Mary
